And I am so happy to see the 'Pound' in your post :) If it's the one I'm thinking of, I've been there once - most mostly frequent them in my home state of Oregon. they are so much fun with so many treasures to be found. you do have to go with a great mind set and be willing to dig, but that's half the fun. My husband joined me once, and that was it for him. he doesn't know what he's missing ! well, I'd better toodle for now - so nice to 'meet' you. Have a great evening. jill (jillsibbald.typepad.com)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6708177664081887948.post-65857226463618100272009-01-08T16:41:00.000-08:002009-01-08T16:41:00.000-08:00Nope, never been dumpster diving. Once they were at the home of some one who used to collect garbage and you don't want to know what people throw away! He had about 40 or so medals, gold and silver, found in the bin! Antique clocks, you name it. Mmmm perhaps I should be looking for a new job this year! Such a bin store is always good. You come in and you think it's disappointing, but when you are digging there will always be some treasures. You did some amazing finds, I like the flashcards too!LiLi M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/14242615020311128940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6708177664081887948.post-87014836334289069152009-01-08T07:03:00.000-08:002009-01-08T07:03:00.000-08:00I did not know there was such a thing as a Goodwil...I did not know there was such a thing as a Goodwill Outlet. I want to go there! I am embarassed to admit that I have been dumpster diving. There was a dumpster where people who lived nearby could put their trash. My mom used to have a gas station and she would watch people to see what they put in the dumpster. If it was something she thought might be a "goodie" she would sometimes ask me to go along!Mad Red Harehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07129668480876429229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6708177664081887948.post-43608438734901871672009-01-08T05:15:00.000-08:002009-01-08T05:15:00.000-08:00I shop a GW bin store in my area. The bins turn over all day long so you get fresh merchandise constantly.

Just curious if yours is by the item, or the pound. How much did your little pile of junk cost if you don't mind answering. My store sells by the item and just estimating that pile would have run around $10-$12.oliveoyl64https://www.blogger.com/profile/08043694366488352015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6708177664081887948.post-65378689287356258562009-01-08T04:19:00.000-08:002009-01-08T04:19:00.000-08:00I have never been sumpster diving.
