I just have to brag...
A few weeks ago, Sydney entered a local coloring contest hoping to win two tickets to our State fair. When we got home late last night from the beach we had a message on our answering machine letting us know that Sydney's picture had been chosen as the winner! The picture she colored was the only one chosen out of more than a hundred entries from 5 - 12 year olds. I think she did really well for only being 5 1/2 years old.
Here's a close-up of her coloring. She had so much fun designing clothes for the kids on the picture. I love the little vest and buttons she drew on one of the boys - too cute. We're so proud of her. She was so excited to win and now, she can't wait to go to the fair!
