Yay! Finally, trees and flowers are beginning to bloom here in our neck of the woods... It's been a long drawn out winter, and this girl is ready for everything spring!
I've been enjoying the little bits of color starting to peek out in our yard - always the first to bloom is my flowering plum tree.
I need more color, like now! Yesterday I went out and bought a few annuals, which helped. First thing I had to fill with flowers were the cute boots I found in the Goodwill bins, back in January. They make me happy...

Those are happy boots!
I love them!
I'm with you, I'm so.....glad for this sunshine. A girl can get pretty tired of the rain.
LOve your signs of Spring, the boots are so cheery!!!
WOW! Those boot planters really POP with color! What a very cute idea! :)
Here too we have the first blossoms! I have seen blogs with roses blossoming, but our giant rose has now her very first little bud. Yes those boots cheer every one up, I love that you put red flowers in them, that combination red and turqoise is magnificient! Have a nice day!
Those are wonderful pictures, guaranteed to put a smile on any face. Beautiful and Refreshing! The only thing that is blooming around here is crocus. We are so much later than your side of the mountains. I'm headed that way this morning though for one night - I hear it's raining. surprise, surprise!
I like those boots- I want a pair in my size. Maybe that would make me get out and garden, just so I could wear the boots. I have a cherry motif in my kitchen so anything cherry I like lots.
Isn't this weather great? Even though we had some rain earlier today, the sun is out and I think it is here to stay!!
