I've noticed lots of people adding house numbers to their front door lately. On a whim this afternoon, I decided to do the same. I didn't feel like taking the time to get all fancy and paint, and I don't have access to a machine that can cut fancy letters out of vinyl etc... etc... so I drew my own design on paper, transferred it to the door, and went over the writing with a black sharpie pen. In less then 10 minutes our front door was transformed.

Well done! I love it. I wish you could come over here, the painters should have done that, but they 'forgot' :-(. And we only have 3 digits, housenumbers beyond three digits are seldom seen over here. They just change the name of the street and start numbering again. Have a lovely day!
How nice, love it. I have some vintage metal numbers I've yet to get hung. Your idea is adorable
Karoline that looks fabulous

That looks awesome, what a great job! If my front door were prettier like yours I would love to do the same thing. As it is I just don't want to call attention to it :).
