New Garden Container

Earlier this spring, I found something I've always thought was so cute and charming.
I knew I shouldn't pass it up either, since it was so cheap.
But before I bought it, I had to make sure I had a use for it...
So I thought about it, and thought hey, what about a flower container?
Yeah! That could be its new purpose.
I knew my hubby would be thrilled too since I had an idea, and now it wasn't going to just end up being stored in the garage. hehe
Well, here it is in all its repurposed glory...
It is a 1940's Taylor Tots stroller.
Don't ya think it's just the cutest thing ever? I'm so happy I brought it home.
I love how even more charming it has become full of flowers!

This looks so cute...and a very clever idea.

I have a picture of myself sitting in a Taylor Tot:). You are the first person I know that knew what these vintage strollers were called. Hugs, Linda

p.s. I know what you mean about buying something and storing it in the garage until you find a place for it....

Your planter is so cute! My mom had a similar stoller that I'm sure she used for all four of us kids, but I have no idea what happened to it. Maybe it, too, is being used somewhere as a cute planter.

Dear Karoline...
Simply adorable but I did want you to know you have one of the most valued of the Taylor Tot strollers...so be certain it is not left out in the weather and that it is protected from the plant dripping water etc onto the seat. The reason this is so prized is because it has the wheel covers. This one is very hard to come by. We have had only one like this in our possession and sold it immediately for $250.00.
Have fun creating.
Hugs,
Pat
