Wanna Win A Bunny???

Yay!!! It's time for a giveaway!!
OK... so I've been meaning to have a giveaway since I had my 1 year blogiversary - ahem... way back in December... so, I guess it's better late than never, right?
I've actually been sewing lately, so I thought I'd give away one of my bunny pillows. This sweet fella was created from a variety of vintage chenille out of my personal collection. I went through my button collection and found a pair of pretty vintage rhinestone buttons for his eyes too.
He's a pretty large bunny, measuring approximately 16" from nose to tail and 22" toe to toe across the back. I made him all white so he'll coordinate beautifully in any home.
If you're interested in having this guy come live with you, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post to be entered in the drawing.
On the evening of Tuesday, March 31st, I'll draw one lucky winner!
Thanks for stopping by.

Dresser Jar + China Head = Cute

A couple weeks ago, I picked up this dresser jar while out thrifting. It's nothing special, I just like jars, and can always find something to store in 'em... I also had purchased a china head here, just to have on hand for use in a project someday...
I got to thinking, and thought the two would be cute together. I took apart the lid, painted the ring, added a bit of vintage wallpaper, glued on the china head, and dressed her up. I'm not completely in love with her crown, but it'll do for now until I find something I like better.
One of a kind dresser jar created in a jiffy - isn't she cute?

Little Table Addiction

I can't say no to a little table, and because of that, I have many. When I hear one calling me, I just can't leave it be... and that was the case with this little cutie.
While we were sorting and pricing last week for our church rummage sale, this little table and I kept crossing paths. My friend Audrey convinced me that it was to sweet to pass up so it made its way to my house for a makeover....
It's now a very pale pink, painted using one of my many leftover paints filling the shelves in our garage. I'm trying to use up, and not buy more paint... It's hard!
I then added a pretty piece of vintage wallpaper to the top with Mod Podge.
I love it!!! Now, where I am going to put it?.....

New Additions

I've added a few new finds to some of my collections lately....
like, a great lot of vintage bride and groom cake toppers
a sweet old flirty eye compostition doll (thanks mom!)
vintage pearl necklaces with pretty rhinestone clasps
and although I don't collect vintage clothing, I did pick up this gorgeous vintage mink stole. It looks fabulous on Stella the mannequin.

Portland, Oregon Fun

We had such a great weekend down in Portland! We met up with my parents Saturday morning at the antique show. I completely forgot to take pics at the show. I guess I was too busy shopping!!! I was so excited to finally meet in person two ladies whose blogs I love to read. Isabel Maison Douce and Joy A Day In The Life. They are just as sweet and delightful as I imagined they'd be, and it was so nice to chat with them in real life!

After the show, we went out to dinner at one of my most favorite restaurants. I have been eating here since I was a kid, and it's still a must every time we visit Portland. Sayler's Old Country Kitchen steaks are fabulous!!!

Since we were able to see everything we wanted at the antique show on Saturday, my mom and I decided Sunday, to go to a few different places around town. First stop was Monticello Antique Marketplace. I've been wanting to shop here for a long time. Let me tell you, it was wonderful! I loved the atmosphere of the whole place. I can't wait to go back! I was so excited to see Isabel and Lisa's space Tickled Pink. This is Isabel's side of their space,
and this is Lisa's A Thing For Roses side. These ladies are so creative, and have such fun stuff for sell!
I took a few more pictures around Monticello's - and this was a super cute space too!
I about died and went to heaven when I saw this gorgeous yo-yo quilt! I've wanted one of these forever, this one was beyond beautiful!!!
Here is another space. Lots of eye candy! If you're in the Portland area, Monticello Antique Marketplace is a must visit, you won't be disappointed.
We hit 3 thrift stores in the area too, and I found a couple things. After that we headed out to another one of my favorite stores, Fabric Depot. If you haven't had the opportunity to shop here and you love fabric, you gotta check this place out!
Mom and I met the boys for lunch at the Oyster Bar. I have to eat here every time I come to Portland too - it's tradition.
I love how this place is the same as when I would come as a little girl. The inside is made to look like you are inside a ship. I love all the old plates that decorate the walls.
After lunch we went to the Portland Roadster's Show. My daddy had his car in the show - he even won a trophy!
Here are my souvenirs from the trip. The 2 beautiful rose pictures I bought from Isabel and one of the tablecloths I bought from Lisa. While thrift store shopping, I found this bench. It'll be getting a makeover soon. I have just the place for it in our bedroom. Maybe hubby will keep his clothes off the floor now..... hehe
We had such a fun weekend, I can't believe how fast it went!

A Little Getaway

I'm so excited! Hubby and I are headed to the Rose City tomorrow morning. This is one of my most favorite weekends of the year. We're meeting up with my parents down there. My daddy has one of his roadsters in the Portland Roadster Show this weekend. The boys will be off doing the car thing while my mom and I shop till we drop at the antique expo. Whoo hoo!!
