Wintery Felted Wool Pink Trees

Today, I made a few sparkly felted wool wintery trees.
Using leftover 2" strips from a felted wool sweater, I cut a fringe.
I hot glued the pieces of wool to a cardboard cone spool, making sure I didn't leave any gaps
and then, voila' a tree!
After a quick spray of glue and a dousing of glitter, they are ready to display with my putz style Christmas village. But, until I get to decorate for Christmas, my Walnut Ridge bunny will be enjoying the pastel forest.

I love to surf around the net and find new and interesting blogs. Today I found yours. I absolutely love these trees! I think it would work with factory made felt and I just might try it. Look out glitter, here I come!

Oh Karoline your new banner is sooo cute, as your felt Christmas trees! Bottlebrush trees are very hard to find here, but woollen sweaters maybe a lot easier to find, thank for the tutorial, I hope everything is alright with you and your family!

I just bought some sweater material really cheap at a thrift store last week. Pink! I made a Christmas tree skirt for my shop. I had a bunch of leftover fabric and decided I could make these too. I have a much longer cone...and I made one. I also glittered it pink! It turned out so cute! Hopefully tomorrow I can post pics on my blog! Thanks for the great idea!
