Homer Love

You know, I've never met a Homer I didn't like...
I can spot one a mile away, and am immediately drawn in.
Maybe it's the colors, could be the patterns, I don't know, I just love 'em.
Last summer, I picked up 8 place settings of Homer Laughlin "pink rose".
One of my all time favorites.

I was so happy to find 4 place settings of Homer Laughlin "gold crown" while thrifting not too long ago.
It was the blue that caught my eye!
I'm slowly accumulating things for a kitchen redo and this blue is part of my new palette.
We'll be using these as our everyday dishes.

In the mean time though, they set a pretty table for my mom and hubby's birthday dinner.

I have always loved Homer, too!
Those blue dishes are exquisite. I would absolutely NOT leave those on a shelf if I saw them for sale!

I am with you on the Homer Laughlin! It all started with a "Pricilla" Teapot!! Everything is better on pretty dishes. Love your stitches too.

I love Homer too. I have what is left of my Grandmother's first set of Homer Laughlin. So many pieces have been broken over the years ((many military moves)). So nice to see this new set of yours. I bet the dinner was just lovely.
Can't wait to see your kitchen redo:)

Oh, I'm such a Homer fan, too! I love his eggshell stuff. I just bought a very old, perfectly patina's Homer sugar bowl today while thrifting! Photos on my blog probably next week! I love that color, too!
