Sydney's teachers asked all parents to bring in flowers from our yards so the kids could fill baskets today. I'll tell ya, it's slim pickin's in our yard right now! All I have blooming is a few Camellia trees, so that's what we brought. We're still waiting for a little Spring warmth around here. Overall, the kids ended up with a pretty nice assortment of flowers for filling their baskets.
When I was a kid, I loved making May Day baskets for my neighbors in the cul-de-sac. It was so fun just to ring the doorbell and run!

What a fun idea for the kids to take flowers to school to make a May Day basket.
